Connecting International Students to the US Job Market

Promoting regional prosperity through immigration and innovation

Students & Supply Chain Professionals are invited to come learn about two great ways to connect international students with opportunities here in St. Louis and across the US.

St. Louis Mosaic Logo

Our Chapter is proud to support the St. Louis Mosaic Project in collaboration with the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and the World Trade Center St. Louis.  On January 30th, we welcome our community of supply chain professionals to learn more about how Mosaic is connecting international students to education and career opportunities within our region. Its goal is to transform St. Louis into the fastest growing metropolitan area for immigration by 2020 and promote regional prosperity through immigration and innovation.

Stuart Bradley
During part one of this session Stuart Bradley provides his insights as a Career Coach to assist firms and international students in the following ways:
• Hiring international students for internships
• Understanding work visas and sponsorship
• Legal advice for visa options
• Understanding the importance of international talent

APICS Case Competition

In the second half of this session, the Washington University APICS Student Chapter will summarize the context and assessment criteria of the 2018 - 2019 APICS International Case Competition.
